Bennington College’s Early Childhood Center and for the last 10 years
to Molly Stark School’s Early Education Program where she became aware
of Sunrise’s services through a school outreach program. Kathy is a
Bennington resident.

has worked as an investigator for the Department for Children and
Families for 4 years. He was instrumental in the creation of the
Children’s Advocacy Center, a safe and supportive place for children who
have been sexually abused and their families. He is from Hoosick
Falls.

Larry has worked in the field of facilities management for 28 years first at UCS and now the Town of Bennington. He also serves as the town’s building inspector, health officer and fire marshal. Larry is a Bennington resident.

Anne has been a practicing pediatric Occupational Therapist for 30 years beginning her career in New Jersey and New York City. Following a move to Vermont in 1992, she began seeing children and families associated with Sunrise and was impressed by the dedication of the staff and their respectful approach to families. Anne currently resides in Shaftsbury..

Dr. Kathy Baum works in private practice as a neuropsychologist. She moved to Bennington in 2006 from Florida. She sees board membership as an opportunity to give back and become more involved in an agency that does such great things for families.

Jane Sobel: Jane, a long time resident of North Bennington, recently retired as a social worker both in private practice and within non-profit settings including 13 years at Berkshire Mental Health Center in Pittsfield. In addition to clinical work she also provided consultation and training including several years at the Molly Stark School Early Education Program. While originally from New York City, Jane came to this area as a student at Bennington College and then received her MSW from the State University of New York at Albany.
