Substitute positions available with our Early Childhood Education Center at Sunrise Family Resource Center, Inc., the local Parent/Child Center and NAEYC accredited Early Care and Education program in Bennington, Vermont.
The ideal candidate will be able to work easily with our safe and nurturing environment, have knowledge of trauma-informed practices, work well in a team atmosphere and provide education and support to parents.
This is a part-time, temporary position and experience working with children six weeks to three years and their parents is preferred.

Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR Early Care and Education Program at Sunrise Family Resource Center is looking for a full-time early education teacher. We are seeking a committed professional who has experience with children ages 6 weeks to three years who loves to get down on the floor to play and appreciates that early childhood is a messy business.
The ideal candidate will be able to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment, have knowledge of trauma-informed practices, work well in a team atmosphere and provide education and support to parents.
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) and experience working with young children and their parents preferred. Strong organizational skills a must. Knowledge of the philosophy and strength-based values of family centered services and early childhood education is an important part of this rewarding work.
